Reception – Year 3 Halloween Disco
As the crisp autumn air returns, so too do the ghouls, ghosts and giggles at Harpenden Academy! It’s time to don your vampire capes, witches’ hats… or maybe just raid Dad’s wardrobe! 👔🧛♂️
This year, we’ve teamed up with Fizz Kids to bring you a brilliantly spooky Halloween disco, packed with music, dancing and Halloween fun! 👻🎶
📍 Harpenden Academy School Hall

🕔 5:00–5:50pm
🎃 A little extra time to settle in
We know Halloween can be a little overwhelming for some of our younger children, so we’re offering a soft start from 4:45pm.
The lights will be on and the music will be quieter, giving children who are feeling a little nervous the chance to come in, have a look around and settle in before the main disco starts at 5pm.
👻 What’s included?
🎶 A spooktacular Fizz Kids disco
🍿 A bag of Sweet & Salty popcorn
🥤 A cup of squash
🏆 Fancy dress competition – with prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place!
There will also be spooky extras available to buy, including glitter tattoos, spooky face gems, scrunchies and more.
Tickets: £5 per child
Tickets must be purchased in advance and include all activities and treats listed above.
Who can attend?
This session is for Reception to Year 3 children.
Siblings are very welcome, including preschool-aged siblings. Preschool children can attend free – please include their name when booking so that we can plan for numbers.
A responsible adult must remain at school throughout the event to supervise their child/children.
Refreshments for grown-ups will also be available to purchase.

👻 Have children in different year groups?
Our Year 4–6 Halloween Disco takes place immediately afterwards from 6:00–7:00pm.
It is a drop-off event for Year 4–6 children only (subject to enough parent volunteers), so please make sure you book the correct ticket for each child.
