When you arrive, head to Lourdes Hall to either start the trail or enjoy some of the activities on offer. Once you start the trail, solve each clue/riddle to collect a letter. Once you’ve collected all the letters, solve the Easter themed anagram and head back to Egg-quarters at Lourdes Hall to exchange your word(s) for an Easter egg. For an egg-stra special prize, look out for hidden golden eggs hidden along the trail. A link to the trail map is below. Happy Easter!

Harpenden Easter Egg Hunt

For the kids:

  • All activities are free, but we would welcome a donation into one of our donation boxes in the hall, or via this link

  • Come and meet the Easter bunny and have a photo

  • We’re delighted to welcome Traffic Light Arts, who’ll be running plenty of Easter crafts for older children including bracelet making, decorate a terracotta plant pot & make an Easter crown.

  • Get your creative juices flowing in our Lego inspired bar, face painting will be available throughout the day and you can also decorate yourself with a glitter tattoo.

  • There will also be a bouncy castle for all the keen jumping bunnies

What’s on at Egg-Quarters (Lourdes Hall):

For the adults:

  • Delicious wraps supplied by Emilio’s Lebanese Street-Food

  • The fantastic Platform Wines will be on hand supplying a fully-stocked bar! They will also be offering hot drinks (tea/coffee)

  • Jealous of your child’s egg? Don’t worry, we will have you covered with a bakery stall full of home-made Easter bakes - just ask at the stall if you want to know the ingredients!

Please note, this is a community charity event organised by Friends of Harpenden Academy, and all proceeds go towards supporting the school.

The prize for completing the trail is a chocolate Easter egg. While we have done our best to accommodate allergens disclosed to us in advance, we cannot guarantee that all dietary requirements can be met. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer alternative prizes or refunds.
